Who and what is Paperama® I hear you ask.
I am Kerry, that’s me over there looking all glamorous 😉 and Paperama® is my own precious world of papercutting wonder.
I have always had a keen interest in various art forms and tried different crafts over the years, but never felt that I was any good … it turns out it’s only because nothing has ever captured my imagination and heart in the way papercutting has.
I never believed I could enjoy a life as an artist or that my creations would be treasured and gifted in the way that they are, or make people smile in the way that do. Look at me, I’m an artist!
The service, what I offer and what you should expect from Paperama®
Paperama® was set up as a business in early 2013, quickly establishing a client base throughout the UK. Since then, orders have been sent as far as Australia. You can see what people have said after receiving their items on the testimonials page.
I like to have a discussion about your order requirements. Some people like to just tell me the occasion and who they want included; others have a good idea of what they would like to see as a completed design. This ensures that you receive a personalised service and that I can produce something you have contributed to and are delighted with. I have gained an insight into the lives of some wonderful people around the world. I have developed some great relationships with returning customers and some I now consider to be friends.
I pride myself on the originality and quality of my work. I pay great attention to detail and feel an immense enjoyment knowing that I have created a special keepsake and made someone smile.
I find inspiration all around me for my designs, whether it comes from the information you provide, nature, or the endless depths of my imagination. Unless otherwise stated all designs are created and hand-cut by me.
My paper cut art is cut by hand, by me. No, I don’t use a machine; yes all I use is a scalpel (and paper and a computer / pencil). I will dedicate a blog post to my processes for you.
